Prattika

What is Prattika?

Pupillage, more commonly referred to as prattika, is a form of professional apprenticeship. The Junior Chamber of Advocates’ Executive Members take pride in the development of the ‘Prattika-Link’ which serves to facilitate the placement of students to find the most suitable internship for their ‘prattika’ requirements; hopefully resulting in employment upon completion of the law course.

Pupillage is required in order to be entitled to obtain the warrant required to exercise the profession of advocate in Malta as set out in article 81(d) of the Code of Organisation and Civil Procedure, as well as to introduce students to the practical aspects of the legal profession.
